The Village Inn RI  A

For the price, you can’t go wrong. I was looking for an affordable venue on the water. The ballroom is amazing. Jim, the owner, did everything he could to make the day go right. Unfortunately, some things annoyed me but they were out of his control. The Inn and the ballroom have two different owners. I was supposed to have the Family Suite which I booked months in advance with a check-in time of 9am. The people at the front desk gave the room to someone else, and were extremely rude. Again, not Jim’s fault, but I just don’t know how that Inn stays in business.

For the wedding, everyone raved about the food. I didn’t hear any complaints about the staff or the food. Only one thing really bothered me was that we had our ceremony there as well, and the Chuppah was supposed to be hidden after the ceremony. They just had it out in the ballroom on the side of the wall for everyone to see.  That was my only complaint. If you are looking to have your wedding at a quaint location on the water, then check out this place.

Metzger Studio’s MA  A+

Scott was the photographer for my brother’s wedding 1 ½ years ago and my family absolutely loved him. Needless to say, Scott was very professional and did an amazing job. We were married the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and he had the slideshow to us that Wednesday.

HarborView Video MA   A

Darryn started videotaping weddings a few years ago for his friends. If I can remember correctly, I found him on Craigslist. He was extremely affordable. When we got back from our honeymoon, about 9 days after the wedding, the video was waiting for us at our house. I watched half of it and he did an incredible job! I didn’t need a fancy video, I just wanted the highlights of the day. He also gave me 3 copies of the dvd and all the raw footage. He was amazing to work with.
